Transfers & Transformations: Our Evolving Biosphere
Transfers & Transformations: Our Evolving Biosphere
Saskatoon 2010
Joint Conference of the CSSS & CSA
20 - 24 June 2010
Message from the co-Chairs
On behalf of the Department of Soil Science, we are very pleased to invite you to attend the 2010 Joint Meetings of the Canadian Society of Soil Science and Canadian Society of Agronomy which will be held at the University of Saskatchewan, the 20th through the 24th of June 2010. The theme for this year’s conference is Transfers & Transformations: Our Evolving Biosphere.
This is a particularly significant year for us in that the department will be celebrating its 90th “birthday” and so we hope to see many alumni and former colleagues in Saskatoon. As well, we will be celebrating the many contributions of Dr. Pan Ming Huang to soil and environmental science with a special symposium honouring his career. Plans are underway for a series of concurrent speaker sessions for the two societies, and the planning committee is interested in hearing from you. So, please contact the Program Chair (Dan Pennock) if you are interested in developing and chairing a special session. In the meantime, make sure you mark your calendar and plan to attend the 2010 CSSS/CSA meetings. We look forward to seeing you in Saskatoon!
