Clinical Research Unit
SCPOR’s Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is an eight-bed facility at Saskatoon City Hospital with medical personnel and management services to support investigators and their staff. As Saskatchewan’s first in-hospital clinical trials facility, the CRU allows researchers to conduct their work in highly controlled conditions, with physician supervision and emergency response on-site.
For patients, SCPOR offers the chance to participate in clinical trials as a treatment option, secure in the knowledge that their choice is backed up by a rigorous scientific and ethical review process.
For information and instructions for scheduling and using the CRU, download the CRU Checklist.
