Welcome

The Student Employment & Career Centre welcomes you to the Meet the CATO Night Event!  Meet our talented accounting candidates who are looking for their co-op, summer or full time CA articling positions, in a career fair environment.  Find out how they can contribute to your company’s future.

Our Students

 The Edwards School of Business programs include the following:

Bachelor of Commerce Program

  • Currently, for the 2012-13 academic year the Edwards School of Business will be home to 110-  3rd year, and 135 - 4th year students in accounting

Business Co-operative Education Program

  • There are 21 accounting co-op students who will be ready for a January placement in 2013

MPacc

  • In 2012-13, the MPAcc program has 88 students in Year 1, and 86 students in Year 2

Advertising

As an exhibitor at the Meet the CATO Night, you are invited to submit advertisements for the Event Handout.  Advertisements provide an excellent opportunity to promote your organization to your target audience. Many students retain the Event Handout as a reference tool for their job search.

Your organization description and website, should you wish to include these details when registering, will appear on our student website with information on this career fair.  Only your organization name will appear in the Event Handout (printed colour version).

Shipping

Courier service is available through the SECC for delivery and shipment of display kits. All booth materials that are shipped to the SECC will be delivered to your booth at the event and will be ready for you to set up when you arrive.

When preparing your items for shipping, clearly identify your company name on all shipped items. Please address your items as follows:

A handling fee of $75 will be applied to your registration if you elect to take advantage of this service. In addition, there will be a $125 non-compliance fee if you fail to deliver the following:

  • Notification of your shipment (through the registration system)
  • Amendment of the number and description of items within your registration
  • Marking of your boxes/display kits accordingly

All Shipped materials must arrive by 1:00 pm Monday, September 10th, 2012.

Please Note: if any items shipped exceeded the dimensions: 4 ft H x 2 ft W x 3 ft L, please contact the coordinator as special shipping arrangements may need to be made.
