Advertising

There is limited, prime advertising space in this year’s event handout with 8 quarter page color ads available for purchase. This is your opportunity to truly stand out and increase your brand awareness among students! Requests for advertising will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Featured Employer $100/month

Advertisements and our Featured Employer service provide an excellent opportunity to promote your company to your target audience. Many students retain the event handout as a reference tool for their job search.

You may also wish to appear as a Featured Employer on the SECC’s website. As a Featured Employer, your logo (including a direct link to your website) will be featured on the SECC website which receives approximately 15,000 hits per month (including search crawlers such as Google, etc.). Featured Employers are seen from the SECC site on an alternating cycle with a limit of 20 companies each month to ensure maximum exposure time.

Shipping

Courier service is available through the SECC for delivery and shipment of display kits. All booth materials that are shipped to the SECC will be delivered to your booth at the event and will be ready for you to set up when you arrive.

When preparing your items for shipping, clearly identify your company name on all shipped items.

A handling fee of $75 will be applied to your registration if you elect to take advantage of this service. In addition, there will be a $125 non-compliance fee if you fail to deliver the following:

  • Notification of your shipment (through the registration system)
  • Amendment of the number and description of items within your career fair registration
  • Marking of your boxes/display kits accordingly

All Shipped materials must arrive by 1:00 pm Monday, January 28, 2012.

Please Note: if any items shipped exceeded the dimensions: 4 ft H x 2 ft W x 3 ft L, please contact the event coordinator as special shipping arrangements may need to be made.

Sponsorship

In addition to advertising, sponsorship is an effective way to improve your profile at the Education Career Fair. Different sponsorship levels provide a variety of benefits by increasing awareness of your organization and your level of exposure to students. Employers are encouraged to contact the Student Employment and Career Centre to discuss any special sponsorship requirements.
