PhD students must also complete a qualifying exam within four months of their first registration and a comprehensive exam (written and oral examination) within 16 months of their first registration.
The goal of the PhD program in Environment and Sustainability is to prepare interdisciplinary scholars for leadership roles in advancing the understanding of Environment and Sustainability as a field of academic study.
