Urban Transportation and Design: Getting Where We Need To Go

SENS is proud to partner with the City of Saskatoon's Environmental Services Office and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) to present a day of discussion and dialogue on the future of urban transportation in Saskatoon.

How can we create more sustainable cities? How do we encourage urban dwellers to use public transportation? How do we avoid urban sprawl? And what can we learn from other cities about effective, efficient urban planning and design? These topics and more will be discussed at Saskatoon's first Sustainability Networking Conference on January 24, 2014. Detailed information on speakers and topics is available on our Facebook page.

Tickets are on sale now at a cost of $200. A limited number of tickets will be made available to students and community organizations/NPOs on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact sustainabilitynetworking2014@gmail.com for more information or to apply.
