SENS teams up with GIWS for Distinguished Lecture Series

SENS, in conjunction with the Global Institute for Water Security (GIWS), is proud to present the second annual Distinguished Lecture Series, a special seminar series for the ENVS 898 class (Breakthroughs in Water Security Research) taking place during the 2014/15 Fall Term.

Each week will focus on a different sub-field of water security and cover an equal blend of four thematic areas: hydrology, aquatic science, water policy and water resource engineering. Top water experts from around the world will speak each week to the class about their research area within these themes.

The lectures are free and open to public. Not in Saskatoon? Viewers can log onto the website and live-stream each lecture.

More information, including abstracts, seminar schedule and speaker biographies, can be found on the Distinguished Lecture Series web site
