Marquis Culinary Centre
Located on the second floor of Marquis Hall the Marquis Culinary Centre offers an unlimited culinary dining experience including stir fries, pizza and pasta, soup and salad bar as well as a variety of fresh chef creations. With “Meatless Monday”, Local Tuesday” and” Turkey Thursday” there is something different and delicious every day of the week.
The Education Building basement is home to the Education Café, where you'll find an array of fresh salads, pizza, sushi, subs, sandwiches, fruit cups, vegetable cups and much more.
The Arts Café on the first floor of the Arts Building is home to La Taqueria (our popular fajita bar), The Deli (freshly made sandwiches), Grab & Go (fresh wraps, sushi, salads and more), Kettle Classics (multiple varieties of daily soups) and A&W (home of the Great Root Beer).
PAC Cafe Subway
The PAC Café Subway is located on the second floor of the Physical Activity Centre (PAC). They have all the classic and premium subs made your way, as well as a full line of breakfast menu items.
The Agriculture Café on the second floor of the Agriculture Building offers hungry patrons daily lunch specials, pizza, salads, soups, coffee and much more.
Choices at STM
Choices in St. Thomas More College uses local, organic, all natural ingredients in many of their appetizing options. Every day features a new and delicious soup, lunch special, pasta special and dinner special.
Le Crépe Bistro
Have a craving for world-class crepes between classes? Then visit Le Crépe Bistro in Lower Place Riel.
A wide range of extremely fresh pita's, pizzas, salads and combos can all be found at Extreme Pita in the Lower Place Riel food court area.
Umi Sushi Express is a casual restaurant chain serving ready-to-serve Japanese cuisine located in Lower Place Riel.
A&W at Arts
The burger family, chubby chicken, breakfast, drinks and dessert from A&W can be found in the Arts Cafe located on the main floor of the Arts Building.
If you're a U of S alumni or university employee, you're eligible for membership at the Faculty Club. Located near Athabasca Hall, you can enjoy an extensive lunch buffet in a historical building with a secluded cobble stone patio.
You can stop by for a blizzard after class at the Dairy Queen on the outskirts of campus on College Drive. They carry a full selection of DQ grill and chill menu items.
Alexander's Restaurant and Bar
Alexander's restaurant is also on the outskirts of campus, near the corner of College Drive and Cumberland Avenue. Their fresh and creative cuisine is made from scratch and they've been designated a "heart smart" restaurant.
Subway is located next door to Alexander's near the corner of Cumberland Avenue and College Drive. They have all the classic and premium subs made your way, as well as a full line of breakfast menu items. There is also a Subway in the PAC Building.
Tim Horton's has three locations at the U of S: Tim's in the tunnel: Arts Building Basement; Tim Hortons Geology: Geology Building, second floor, and Tim's in Marquis: Marquis Building, first floor. They carry favorites like coffee, tea, donuts and bagels, and extra items like sandwiches, soups, fruit and more.
You can enjoy a high-quality arabica coffee, a premium Tazo® tea, pastries and other delectable treats at the Starbucks location in the Learning Commons, Library main floor.
Browsers brews fair trade coffee and teas, specialty beverages like caramel macchiatos, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes and mochas, and wine and liqueurs. Plus, you can snack on fair trade chocolate bars, trail mix, and granola bars or the full Louis' menu as you browse through our bookstore in the upper level of the Memorial Union Building.
If you're looking for a cup of joe as you pass through Place Riel, stop at Treats. They carry a full selection of gourmet coffees and European flavoured coffees as well as muffins, cakes, biscuits and other wholesome goodies that are baked in-store.
The North 40 is located in the Agriculture Building and carries regular convenience store food items, as well as U of S clothing, stationery and technical supplies for the Colleges of Engineering, Agriculture and Bioresources, and Veterinary Medicine.
You can find the Tuck Shop at the crossroads of the two busiest corridors in the arts/commerce complex. It's the perfect place to stop and grab a snack and soft drink, or emergency class supplies.
Campus Centre Pharmacy
The newly renovated Pharmacy, located in Upper Place Riel, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
It's a couple of blocks off campus (1302 Temperance Street) but worth the walk. They carry a full selection of groceries, school supplies, cosmetics and unique gift items.
If your bus (or your feet) takes you to the southern outskirts of the campus, stop by the Campus Confectionery at 1418 College Drive to pick up a wide variety of convenient confectionery items.
Located in lower place, Mac's is recognized for it's strong food service brands, Seattle's Best Coffee, and icy cold Frosters.
