Planning, Program Development and Assessment
The manager of Planning, Program Development and Assessment works with staff within SESD to plan strategically, align the division’s priorities with those of the university, develop programs and policies that help to accomplish the division’s goals, and assess the divisions progress in doing so.
As part of the assessment process, unit and divisional benchmarks and performance indicators are developed to guide future planning efforts. During this process, Planning, Program Development and Assessment, assists managers with developing and assessing new and revised programs in order to meet student needs.
One of the most important activities of this area is providing training to SESD managers and staff in the areas of planning, policy and program development and assessment, building capacity across the division in all of these areas.
