Convocation
Members of the faculty who attend the Convocation exercises are encouraged to sit on the platform rather than the general theatre seating. Invited guests will be seated in the general theatre seating.
Faculty sitting on stage are asked to assemble in the Holding Room which is located backstage of TCU Place. The Holding Room should be accessed by entering the backstage door on the south side of the building. Once you enter the backstage door you should proceed up the first flight of stairs and turn right. Signs will be posted. From the Holding Room, you will be escorted to the lobby area to form a receiving line where you will be able to watch the procession of your students as they file into the theatre. You will then be directed to a seat on the raised platform.
For the morning ceremony, please assemble no later than 8:20 a.m. and no later than 1:20 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.
