BRAIN SHOW
Bring your friends and family to learn about the amazing human brain. FREE FAMILY FUN!!!
The Brain show will
be held in the Atrium of the Agriculture Building on the University of
Saskatchewan campus from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2004.
Displays by voluntary and
government health agencies, interactive "brain games room" for all ages,
model MRI (how it works), on-going video movies, interactive computer games,
the "Brain Walk" with 10 interactive stations, the amazing human brain,
information on brain diseases and disorders, and much more.

BAW 2004 DINNER AND LECTURE
The BAW 2004 dinner will be
held on Monday, March 15, 2004 with networking beginning at 6:00 pm in the DaVinci Room of the Radisson Hotel in Saskatoon SK.
Judy Junor, MLA for Saskatoon
Eastview, will officially launch BAW-2004.
Representatives from
University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon District Health, voluntary and government
health agencies, patient advocacy and service groups as well as neuroscientists,
clinicians, students and health workers will attend.
The BAW Lecture will be given
by Dr. Robert Zatorre from the Montreal Neurological Institute who will
be speaking in the Picasso Room of the Radisson Hotel at 8 pm on "Understanding
the Brain Through Music: Perception, Thought and Emotion"..

CHILDREN AND EPILEPSY WORKSHOP
This workshop is being organized by Epilepsy Saskatoon, Inc. and will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2004. Contact Mr. Don Ewles for times and topics to be discussed at the workshop.

BRAIN AWARENESS WEEK 2004 Event in Prince Albert
BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION TOAST
BRUNCH
This brunch is organized by
the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association.
Toasts will be proposed to
survivors of brain injury and to the families of those who recently died. We will also recognize the contributionsof research, neuroscience, health professionals and those who make it possible for the Association to continue to exist. As in past years, there will be Silent and Live auction of a variety of high quality art print, original works by Saskatchewan Artists and Artisans and a variety of other items for home, personal care and entertainment.
The Toast Brunch will be held at the Marlboro Hotel in Prince Albert on Sunday, March 14, 2004 beginning at 10:30 a.m.. Subject to availability, tickets may be purchased for $20 per person until March 10/04 by calling 1-888-373-1555 (toll free in Saskatchewan only).
