Graduate Programs
The School of Public Health offers a number of programs that are designed to provide graduate students with a rich array of opportunities in training, research and applied public health practice. These programs include:
- Collaborative Biostatistics Program - MSc and PhD degrees
- Epidemiology Program - PhD degree
- Master of Public Health Program
- Master of Public Health Distance Program
- Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics Program - MSc and PhD degrees
Courses are interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary in learning and practice, and draw upon the knowledge and experience of a full spectrum of disciplines including:
- Health sciences: Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Veterinary Medicine, Computer Science
- Life sciences: Biology, Microbiology and Immunology, Chemistry
- Social sciences: Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Native Studies
- Business: Health Care Administration
All programs have been developed with the goal of seeking accreditation by the Council on Education in Public Health.
