Background: Ryan is currently working towards a PhD in the Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics. His previous research projects at the National Research Council Plant Biotechnology Institute focused on characterizing the secondary metabolite biosynthetic pathways of Cannabis, Hops, and St. John's Wort. Ryan brings expertise in biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology and bioinformatics to his research team. He has been awarded the Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics Scholarship from the School of Public Health for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic years. His interests include sports and volunteerism within the Saskatoon community.
Thesis title: Rabies glycoprotein G as a carrier to induce immune responses against foreign and self peptide epitopes.
