Electron Spin Spin Resonance (ESR) is a powerful nondestructive and nonintrusive analytical method. ESR produces important information regarding a sample’s structure and dynamics, and is the only method for the direct detection of Spin species. ESR involves the direct measurement of unpaired electrons, and is useful in detecting radicals within a material. Applications of ESR can range anywhere from photosynthesis research to drug detection to the kinetics of radical reaction
