STLHE is a national association of academics, educational developers, and students (graduate and undergraduate) interested in the improvement of teaching and learning in higher education. Its members comprise mainly faculty and educational development professionals from higher education institutions across Canada and beyond. Founded in 1981, the bilingual STLHE is home to the Council of 3M Teaching Fellows and the Educational Developers Caucus, as well as special interest groups for College Education, Writing Centres, and GA/TA Training. This year’s conference, From Here to the Horizon, is expected to attract approximately 450 to 500 individuals from Canada, the United States and abroad. Each year, the STLHE conference participants exchange ideas, communicate research findings, and connect with old and new colleagues.
We are also pleased to announce that the annual Teaching and Learning with the Power of Technology conference will be held in conjunction with the STLHE conference (starting Tuesday June 14th and ending Wednesday June 15th). For more information, please check the TLt 2011 link found to the left.
See you in June! Jim Greer and Linda Ferguson, co-chairs, STLHE 2011 Conference
