About the College

Governance

The University of Emmanuel College operates under the charter first granted by The Parliament of Canada in 1883. A Senate, composed of thirteen appointed members plus the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, governs the University of Emmanuel College, with authority for granting degrees and honorary degrees, and other academic matters.
