Sheaves welcomes submissions of articles from alumni/ae and from others who have things to share that would interest our readers.
Deadlines
Articles are due about six weeks before the issue is due to arrive in people's mailboxes. The Development Office can tell you the deadline for the current issue.
Word length
Half-page: about 350 words
Full-page: about 700 words
Two-page spread: about 1400 words
Format
We prefer Word, RTF, or text. However, we can generally find a way to read most common document formats. Electronic copies are easier for us to work with so we don't have to retype the article.
Photo
Articles are accompanied by photos. If you have a photo(s) that you would like to include, please send it to the Development Office along with your article. Sometimes, we can find our own picture to illustrate your article if you don't have one.
Editing
Articles are edited for grammar, length, and accuracy.
