Jonathan A. Draper, PhD, is a professor of New Testament at the School of Religion & Theology, University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa). He is also an ordained Anglican priest in the Church of the Province of South Africa.
Draper has edited several books:
He is co-editor with R. A. Horsley and J. Miles Foley, Performing the Gospel: Mark, Orality and Memory (2006) and with Cynthia Kittredge and Ellen Aitken, Reading the Signs of the Times: Taking the Bible into the Public Square (2008). He is the current editor of Neotestamentica, the Journal of the New Testament Society of South Africa.
Dr. Draper co-authored with Richard Horsley Whoever Hears You Hears Me: Prophets, Performance, and Traditions in Q.
