Built to serve the four western synods of the ELCIC, we love to welcome all our sisters and brothers, from across the greater church and world, into our building and into our community. Because we train many of the pastors in the ELCIC, they serve all over the country and world. However, we feel very pleased to welcome visitors who are able to come to us.
There are many opportunities to come experience LTS. Everyday of the week, during the school year, everyone available comes to worship at daily chapel. While these might not be our largest or most ornate services, it is an excellent opportunity to get to know the everyday prayer and communal life of LTS. Offically we open our doors once a year during Open House, to anyone who would like a more guided and prepared tour of our building and functions. this usually happens in the fall, and is advertised around the city, and here on the website.
However, the most popular time to come experience LTS is during the Annual Study Conference. You might even get in a round of golf during our Annual Hordern Classic! This is a great time to come and see not only the everyday, educational facet of LTS, but the greater effect of our mission, as our Alumn/ae return to learn,worship and renew contacts with us and one another.
