Youth Retreat

St. Andrew’s College is hosting its first youth retreat! If you are in grades 10-12. If you love to be inspired, challenged to think, meet new people and hang out with good friends; if you enjoy being in an open and welcoming community where you are free to be completely yourself; if you’ve been wondering what comes next for you after graduation …. then this is an event for you!

Let Your Whole Life Speak runs Friday, Sept. 22, to Sunday, Sept. 24, at St. Andrew's College on the University of Saskatchewan campus and McClure United Church. Registration is free.

Retreat InfoMembers of the Let Your Whole Life Speak leadership team are:

Aurora Coulthard: Aurora is a 19 year old, second year student at St. Andrew’s College who hopes to earn a Bachelors of Theology and a Masters of Divinity in the next few years, after which she will become an ordained minister of the United Church of Canada. She has a passion for sharing her faith with other people through words and loves public speaking. She loves music, especially playing the drums, and music is an important expression of her faith. She loves to read and hopes to see as much of the world as time will allow her. Aurora strongly believes that God is calling her to spread a message of His love and His church, but is still deep in the process of exploring exactly what this means

David Kim-Cragg has been the Ecumenical Chaplain at the University of Saskatchewan since 2014 and is currently also a history PhD student. He has a passion for storytelling, is a member of the Saskatoon Storytelling Guild and is a one-time winner of the Tonight It’s Poetry Storytelling Slam.

Tracy Murton: In a previous life, Tracy was the youth and young adult minister for the Vancouver Presbyteries. Currently, she works for River Bend presbytery and EDGE, and is passionate about creating space for conversations that matter, reading trashy mystery novels, and anything that has anything to do with chocolate. And coffee. Or both.

Mark Zielke is the Worship Arts Director at St. Paul's United Church in Sutherland. Coming from the professional music scene, Mark has brought his love of music and teamwork into the "church/ worship" context, and leads a variety of worship teams at St. Paul's.
