Steve Fraser
Steve Fraser is a member of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan and is originally from Debden, Saskatchewan. Steve has diplomas in science and social work from the University of Mount Royal College in Calgary, a BA in Psychology from the First Nations University in Regina, Bachelor of Human Justice, and Bachelor of Social Works from the University of Regina and is in the final stages of completing his MSW from the University of Regina.
Steve is beginning his PhD with the College of Medicine in the Health and Sciences in September of 2013 at the University of Saskatchewan. Steve’s interests are in research methodologies of Indigenous peoples, Metis and Aboriginal cultural identity, and child welfare. Steve currently is a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the University of Regina and is also a Research Assistant with the University of Saskatchewan’s Department of Psychiatry and College of Medicine with Dr. Tait’s Research Group.
