Current and Recent Research Projects
Assessing the cardiovascular effects of benzo[a]pyrene and vitamin D using the rat model. We will generate dose-response curves for these compounds with cardiovascular pathology biomarkers to help determine what kind of role they play in cardiovascular health. Then we will compare our results and look for synergistic or antagonistic interactions to help elucidate the mechanisms responsible for any significant effects.Publications
