Current and Recent Research Projects

The starting point of my project is to determine if mercury vapour, methylmercury and lead are sufficiently similar to be combined as a mixture and to evaluate its toxicity. This will involve research on the toxicology and mode of action of each heavy metal and the principles of mixture risk assessment. A possible outcome might be the creation of toxicity equivalency factors.
