Current and Recent Projects

I am investigating the molecular and pathological effects of chronic dietary selenomethionine in juvenile white sturgeon (Acipenser transmontanus).  Molecular changes will be linked to observable whole organism effects by investigation of tissue histopathology and alterations in stress response.  This study aims to increase the understanding of juvenile white sturgeon sensitivity to selenomethionine and to aid in the risk assessment of this unique and endangered species.
