The Play
Picasso at the Lapin Agile
By Steve Martin…. Directed by Julia Jamison
“Three men walk into a bar… Picasso, Einstein and… a surprise visitor…
Set in a Bohemian café in Paris in 1904, three 20th century icons on the verge of making their defining contributions engage in lively debate on the merits of genius vs creativity, arts vs science, and romance. In the inimitable comedic voice of playwright Steve Martin, and with just a touch of magic realism, this cast of quirky characters toys with time, space and each other.
Sometimes the future is handed to you so casually you can miss it”
