The University Learning Centre is partning with International Student and Study Abroad Centre (ISSAC) and the Language Centre to offer
U-Speak Workshops
These free workshops help international students to communicate in Canada. Workshops are held on most Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30 p.m. and most Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m from September 18th, to November 29th.
U-Speak workshops are for undergraduate and graduate students who speak English as an additional language.
- Gain skills and confidence through fun and interactive tasks
- Feel comfortable sharing knowledge and opinions in an academic setting
- Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided

For additional support in English Language Help, please visit the Language Centre website. The University Learning Centre Writing Help can offer tutoring, but does not edit or proofread, and does not specialize in ESL help.
