Political Studies 112.3: An introduction to political ideas and change in a global era. The course explores themes such as nationalism, ideology, development, democratization, globalization, sovereignty, conflict and human rights.

Philosphy 140.3:
An introduction to essential principles of reasoning and critical thinking. Designed to introduce students to the analysis of concepts, to enhance their ability to evaluate various forms of reasoning, and to examine critical beliefs, conventions and theories, and to develop sound arguments. Topics include fundamental of logic and analysis, definition, logical fallacies, and conceptual analysis.
