Where is the PAL Desk?
The PAL Desk is located just outside the University Learning Centre, Room 106 on the first floor of the Murray Library.

Why should I visit the PAL Desk?
PAL Peer Mentors can offer you on-the-spot study skills assistance. PALs are trained in areas such as:
- time management
- reading skills
- note-taking skills
- exam preparation
- determining your learning style
The University Learning Centre staff and PAL Peer Mentors can help you to find academic assistance in areas other than study skills as well. Feel free to drop by the desk to chat or ask a question or two. Come see us and we can tell you who can help you.

Our mission at the PAL Desk is to assist students in finding the support they need to learn, which may improve their academic performance. We value comprehensive knowledge of available services for students and a friendly and helpful attitude.
Our goal is to be an approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful presence on campus, while recording, researching, and determining what potential services the University Learning Centre and the University in general could be offering.
Hours of Operation
You are welcome to come talk with one of our staff members. The ULC desk hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
