These workshops are led by Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) peer mentors: students just like you, who want to share their knowledge of how to study in University. 

Some of the workshops typically offered are

  • Getting started at the University
  • Time management
  • Reading and notetaking
  • Study skills and learning styles
  • Writing exams

Study skills workshops are offered from September to November, as well as January to March.

Worried about how to study for exams and how to actually write them? Come and join Zunaira for a crash course on exam prep and writing! Topics covered in this workshop include tips for preparing for exams, managing stress as well as tips on how to tackle with multiple choice, short and essay-type questions on an exam.
