Full Text Databases

Are there full text only databases?

There definitely are full-text only databases, and those are definitely also popular. The JSTOR and Project Muse have a lot of...are completely full-text, and that means that the complete journal article is there, available, to be downloaded or printed from your screen. The MLA database does have a lot of links to the full text through the journals that we do have available online. So, I would say that it''re never certain to get exactly what you need in those full text databases and you're also sometimes cutting yourself off from the resources that we have online that are just not in those particular databases. So, even if it's last minute, it's great to check a couple of different places, but JSTOR and Project Muse have the complete journal articles in there.
