To provide students with information that enables student advertising and publicity to be conducted in a timely manner while keeping the campus free of litter and minimizing damage.
Students, faculty and staff will be informed of student related activities through well balanced advertising and publicity programs that ensure the University's image in the community is positive, that the campus is kept free of litter and damage and that noise on campus is eliminated as much as possible.
- Advertising for all dated materials must be removed within three days after the advertised function has taken place. Advertisements for non-dated activities may be placed for a two-week period.
- The use of a public address system is permitted within specified times; permission must be sought from the Student's Union. Approval to place advertising material on the overpass is the responsibility of the Director of Operations and Maintenance (Facilities Management).
- Specific regulations may apply within each College. Such regulations are on file at the University of Saskatchewan Student's Union.
- In cases where the individual or organization believes that the existing regulations should be waived, a request may be submitted to the Student's Union.
The detailed procedure is filed with the Student's Union and with the Associate Vice-President (Student Affairs and Services)
