Clinicians in the WCVM Field Service annually see about 30,000 animals during more than 3,600 farm and feedlot visits across Saskatchewan. While most of these animals are cattle and horses, Field Service clinicians also care for pigs, sheep, goats, deer, elk and bison.

The WCVM Field Service is part of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Besides caring for your animals, WCVM’s field service clinicians are teaching veterinary students about animal health in an on-the-farm or on-site setting.
