    Dr. Stephen (Steve) Manning is a field service clinician at the Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) and a board-certified theriogenologist. He is also the WCVM's associate dean of clinical programs and an associate professor in the WCVM's Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences. He specializes in advanced reproduction techniques and equine acupuncture.

    Dr. Manning graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 1991. After a few years in private practice, he came to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) and completed a residency in theriogenology (reproduction) and a Master of Science degree. Dr. Manning earned his board certification from the American College of Theriogenologists in 1997. He is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist, having successfully completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course at Colorado State University in 2008.

    Dr. Manning lives on an acreage outside of Saskatoon where he and his wife (also a veterinarian) raise and train a slowly growing herd of Canadian warmbloods for the dressage ring.

    Equine acupuncture, advanced reproductive techniques, and subfertility/infertility in mares and stallions.
