Avian, Exotic and Wildlife Medicine and Surgery

The WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre's Avian, Exotic and Wildlife Medicine and Surgery service schedules regular clinic appointments for a wide range of small exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hedgehogs, snakes, lizards, iguanas, birds, ferrets and chinchillas.

Hospital clinicians also provide regular weekly veterinary service to all of the animals at the City of Saskatoon's Forestry Farm Zoo.

Wild and Exotic Animal Medicine Society (WEAMS)

WEAMS is a volunteer veterinary student society that operates under the direction of the VMC Avian, Exotic and Wildlife Medicine Service. Members of WEAMS treat and rehabilitate injured wildlife — a service that's provided free of charge by the Veterinary Medical Centre. Visit the WEAMS web site for more information.
