University Review Commitee (URC)

Renewal of Probation
Each employee who holds a probationary appointment shall be considered for renewal during the final year of the initial probationary appointment unless considered for tenure (Article 14).

Tenure
Tenure means the appointment of an employee to a permanent position on the academic staff of the University (Article 15).

Promotion
An employee may be considered for promotion to the next rank in any year (Article 16).
