The College of Education: The College of Education is the second largest college at the University of Saskatchewan and has graduated over 30,000 students in its 80-year history. To become an educator through the U of S College of Education is to join a tradition of excellence in teaching and learning class.  Both direct and non-direct entry programs are offered at the College. Further, the College is home to Canada's preferred Aboriginal Teacher Education Programs, such as ITEPNORTEP and SUNTEP. The variety in programs offered, the commitment of faculty members and the increasing practical component of the programs allow students to obtain a first-class educational experience.

Based on the leadership and guidance of the College of Education Beadwork Committee, and on the desire to create an effective professional learning experience for staff and faculty at the University of Saskatchewan, the following principles have been adopted to guide development and implementation of the program:
