Subj:	Short survey on the number of neutered/ spayed dogs around the globe

Dear All,

I am a postgraduate student at Anglia
Ruskin University in Cambridge (UK) and am
looking at dog urine marking behaviour. Dogs are
frequently neutered and spayed, which
might influence their urine marking behaviour and
possibly urine composition.

To find out just how many dogs are neutered/spayed I
have launched a short on-line survey. It can be
completed in under a minute. If you own dog/s, your
participation would be much appreciated:

The survey asks for the country
you live in, whether you live in an urban or rural
area, how many of your adult dogs are neutered/spayed,
and, if you have dogs under a year old, how many of
those have been altered. It is running for another 10
days from now and who knows, we might reach 1000
responses !

I am looking forward to hearing from dog owners across
the globe. I am aware that my sample is rather biased,
but the internet is an efficient way of getting in
touch with many people around the world. 

It would be fantastic if you could forward this link
to family, friends, and other dog owners who might be
happy to take part. Feel free to cross-post.
