Equine Internship/Veterinary Assistantship
We offer 6 positions annually for a one year surgical internship that requires a Doctorate in Veterinary medicine or an equivalent degree (MV, MVB, LV, DVM, VMD). A knowledge base of horses is required as well as an avid interest in fields inter-connected with equine surgery, radiology, anesthesiology, reproduction and internal medicine.
Completion of this internship/assistantship should fulfill the requirements necessary to pursue one of several residency programs or allow the candidate to enter private practice.
The remuneration for this position is $26,700 CDN.
