Admission Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Degree Requirements
Students must maintain continuous registration in the 994 course.
- A minimum of 9 credit units including VTMC 990.0 and 994.
- VTMC 830.3
- VTMC 990.0
- VTMC 994.6
- Residency requirements: At the discretion of the department but normally four terms of residency (excluding summers).
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Admission Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
Degree Requirements
Students must maintain continuous registration in the 996 course.
- Minimum of 3 credit units, including VTMC 990, and 996
- VTMC 830.3
- VTMC 996
- Comprehensive examination at least one year before defending PhD thesis
- Residency requirements: at the discretion of the department but normally four terms of residency (excluding summers).
Transfer from Master of Science (MSc) to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program
Admission Requirements
- Qualifying Examination in order to transfer to PhD program.
Degree Requirements
Students must maintain continuous registration in the 996 course.
