2011 Survey of Dairy Practitioners

Summer 2011 Research Study: Dairy Practitioners' Skills in Western Canada

Dairy practitioners of Western Canada:

This summer, we are performing a research study into the skills that are performed by dairy practitioners in Western Canada. The results of the study will be used to determine the skill requirements of veterinary students and allow the veterinary curriculum to be designed to allow teaching of these skills.

We are asking for your input into this study since practicing veterinarians are best placed to characterize the skills required of veterinary students. We would welcome your participation in our study.

Please take the time to complete our survey that should take about 15 minutes of your time. The information you provide will be kept confidential. You can complete the survey using one of two options:

   Dr. Chris Luby, Assistant Professor
Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences
   WCVM, U of S
   52 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK   S7N 5B4

Survey findings will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and will be made available to colleges of veterinary medicine as well as to study participants upon request. The results will be summarized and thus presented anonymously.

Thank you for your participation.

Dr. Chris Luby, assistant professor, and Katelyn McIntyre, second-year veterinary student, WCVM
