Medicine Service

The Small Animal Medicine Services sees out-patient cases for:

  • physical exams and vaccinations
  • disease prevention counseling
  • routine diagnostic procedures
  • treatment of uncomplicated diseases
  • cardiac work-ups and monitoring

More complex cases seen by the Medicine Service may require hospitalization and more in-depth procedures or testing. Some of these would include:

  • radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism in cats
  • diabetic testing and monitoring
  • wound care and treatment
