Originally
from Zimbabwe, Dr. Bailey spent seven years in practice before embarking on a
clinical residency and graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan.
His
clinical interests included both equine and food animal surgery. While his
prime interest was soft tissue surgery, he was actively involved in equine
lameness and sports medicine.
Research Interests
Dr.
Bailey's research interests have included wound healing and reconstructive
surgery as well as the pathogenesis of tendon injuries and tendon metabolism.
