Simple Text Editors

HTML documents are normal text documents. They can be created with any text editor, including MS-Windows Notepad, Macintosh Simpletext, or Unix vi or emacs. The following text editors are recommended by members of the University Web Design mailing list. These do not have any special features for handling HTML documents.
