Identify potential chronic or life-threatening health conditions with these 6 simple tests

Know Your Numbers is a partnership between the University of Saskatchewan and CUPE 1975 to bring confidential, on-campus health screening clinics to help improve your overall health.
Our clinics for Summer 2017 are now over. We will be holding more clinics in Spring 2018. Please check back in early Spring to find dates and locations.
CUPE 1975 members will receive paid time away from your workplace to participate in the program.
After the appointment, participants will immediately receive a report with the results. By understanding what these numbers mean, participants will be able to take control of their health and well-being by identifying health issues and learning about preventative and treatment options. The clinics may also help identify chronic or life-threatening health conditions where immediate follow-up is required.
The program is especially beneficial for those who don’t have a family doctor or feel they don’t have the time to get a regular check-up.
After the clinic, use participants can use their numbers to complete an online health risk assessment to help them on your path to a healthy life. The health risk assessment asks questions related to overall health behaviours (such as eating and drinking habits, exercise, mental and financial health) and helps identify health risk factors. The tool is available online through your Sun Life account by accessing the Wellness Centre.
The clinics will be operated by an independent health provider, The Health Team, and your results will be kept strictly confidential. For over a decade, the highly skilled registered nurses and healthcare professionals at the Health Team have provided workplace health and employee wellness services to organizations across Canada.
Who is Eligible?
Know your Numbers currently is a pilot project with CUPE 1975 members only. If the program is successful in usage and results, it could be expanded to all employee groups, including family members.
