Organizations & Groups

As we build on our programs, we are happy to collaborate with the supportive Saskatchewan entrepreneurial community. We will continue to work closely and effectively with all organizations in support of innovative thinking & entrepreneurship. Some of these organizations include:

  • Community Futures- 13 offices throughout the province provide support to entrepreneurs in any stage of business in the form of financial or capital loans, training and mentoring, and business advice
  • Enactus University of Saskatchewan - A team of students using entrepreneurial action to create a better and more sustainable Saskatchewan.
  • Futurpreneur Canada -A national charity providing pre-launch coaching, business resources, start-up financing and mentoring to help youth 18-34 start their own businesses
  • Ideas Inc.- Access to office space in the river landing district & programming to propel your business to the next level
  • Industry Liaison Office - Responsible for the commercialization of research and knowledge developed by the University's researchers, faculty, staff and graduate students
  • Innovation Place - One of the most successful university-related research parks in North America
  • Innovation Saskatchewan - Develops policies and programs and conduct activities that assist in the implementation of the innovation priorities of the Government of Saskatchewan.
  • Junior Achievement- Deliver innovative programs that stimulate and inspire elementary, middle and high school students to value free enterprise, understand business and economics, and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills
  • Junior Chamber of Commerce- Connects students to one another in the areas of corporate business, entrepreneurship, and politics
  • Nail the Numbers - A hands-on financial literacy program for entrepreneurs
  • Next 36- Intensive program with up to $80K in seed capital and 9 months of CEO-level mentorship
  • Saskatchewan Capital Network - Facilitates the introduction of investment-ready entrepreneurial companies to potential investors
  • SaskInvent- A student organization that focuses on designing and building projects that can benefit individuals and society
  • Saskatchewan Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs (SYPE)-Networking opportunities, including monthly luncheons, with a variety of speakers on topics from the economic climate facing Saskatchewan to everyday business issues
  • Square One - A division of the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA), Square One is a one-stop shop providing information to Saskatchewan entrepreneurs and small-business owners interested in starting or expanding their business
  • Startup Saskatoon- Part of the “Startup Canada Communities” network, providing entrepreneurs with a single doorway to enter their local entrepreneur community. By actively promoting all local events, startups, and resources, Startup Saskatoon aims to create a stronger, more connected community and accelerate entrepreneurial success
  • Start-Up Drinks Saskatoon- A free, monthly networking meetup for people interested in entrepreneurship and technology. Members include many of the area’s most active entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, and others interested in the local start-up scene
  • The Two Twenty- Community & co-working space in Saskatoon
  • Wall Street Common- A collaborative workspace, or coworking space, housed within Saskatoon's historic Warehouse District.
  • Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan- Business advisory and support services helping women start, purchase, or expand the businesses.
