USask is introducing new productivity tools that will allow you to connect, share and collaborate with anyone, on any device, from virtually anywhere. Members of the university community now have access to new cloud-based services that will increase storage capacity, enhance the ability to share and collaborate while improving the safety of your data.
What's in the toolkit
The university's email and calendars moved to the cloud-based Office 365 that boosts the storage capacity of your inbox, improves security features and integrates with the other Office 365 productivity tools.
Office 365 ProPlus is the most productive and most secure Office experience with cloud-connected apps and services allowing your teams to work together seamlessly from anywhere, anytime.
Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app that helps your team stay organized and have conversations—all in one place.

The Productivity Toolkit provides multiple ways to store and share information and to more efficiently collaborate with people within the university and outside the organization. Guidelines for what service to use and when to use it is provided to ensure the appropriate information and data protection measures are being applied.

How to Get Started
For optimal use of the Collaborative Campus tools please take the time to ensure your devices are up-to-date and using the latest operating system.
Prior to accessing Microsoft OneDrive or Teams, we ask that you update your computer to the latest version of Windows 10. Check to see what version of Windows you are currently using or begin your Windows 10 update.
USask Windows computers will be updating to Office 2019 in the near future. Updating to Windows 10 is a prerequisite of that update and will provide all members of the university the most modern and secure user experience.
