• All Applications are due January 10, 2018 at 5:00pm
  • 4 students per team. Open to all U of S students
  • Teams will be selected based on practicality of the menu. (Taste, Presentation, Originality, Complexity, Kitchen Performance). Please note the protein list. Teams will also have access to the pantry which includes items such as flour, rice, potatoes, eggs,oil, spices, etc. If a specialty spice is required we may be able to accommodate. Please include this in your ingredient list.
  • Once teams have been picked and contacted they will then set up a time to speak with the Sous Chef, Ahmed Mohamed. They will discuss recipe/plan & rules governing the competition & meet their chef mentor for the event.
  • Each team will receive one Marquis Culinary Centre mentor to assist with preparing, serving and plating their menu items.
  • Safety waiver needs to be signed before the competition begins
  • Menu must be cooked at Marquis Culinary Centre with U of S Culinary Services equipment.
  • Food items will be prepared for the Judges as well as the Students in Finale ONLY
