Tenure Track Position in Social Studies
A new position opens up in the Department of Curriculum Studies
The Department of Curriculum Studies, University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level commencing July 1, 2015 with a focus on teacher education specifically in the area of Social Studies Curriculum and Pedagogy.
As key member of an innovative and dynamic College, the successful candidate will focus on teaching and learning at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of Social Studies and Citizenship. The candidate should have, or be near the completion of, a doctoral degree in an appropriate specialization, and possess the ability to work across disciplines. Preferred candidates will have specific education and publications in the theory and applications of Social Studies and Citizenship curriculum and pedagogy. In addition, all faculty are expected to conduct research, provide service and contribute to collegial processes in the College of Education.
