The Assessment and Analytics team utilizes various tools and techniques to create models that can be used for analytics, visualizations, and decision-making (e.g. resource allocation). Many of these models are created for specific purposes and/or to provide senior leaders with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Examples of our work in this area is described below.
Resource Allocation Scenario Analysis Tool
Purpose: Used in scenario planning to model changes in Transparent, Activity-Based Budgeting System (TABBS) metrics and provides the ability to forecast associated revenue and expense allocations.
Rankings Overview Dashboard
Purpose: Used to compare the University of Saskatchewan’s performance in various university rankings instruments.
Campus Map Visualization
Purpose: Used to model space data, utilities, room usage, and deferred maintenance.
Admissions and Recruitment Visual and Dashboard
Purpose: Used to track student origins and monitor recruitment initiatives.
City of Saskatoon Visualization
Purpose: Used to model student density within the city to support location-based services.
