Directions to get here

The University of Saskatchewan (map) is located in the heart of Saskatoon, SK, on the eastern bank of the South Saskatchewan River, across from downtown Saskatoon.   The conference hotel (Parktown Hotel) is located on the opposite side of the University Bridge.  The various student residences are located on campus.

Air Travel

Saskatoon is serviced by the John G. Diefenbaker International Airport located 15 minutes from the University of Saskatchewan campus. Numerous daily arrivals and departures link Saskatoon with all Canadian, American and International points.

Ground transportation between the airport and the downtown core and University of Saskatchewan campus is available.

  • Saskatoon Transit (Route No 11) provides city bus service to the downtown core and UofS campus. Bus stops are located curb side just past the arrivals area.
  • Taxi service is provided from the airport. Currently United Cabs Ltd. is the licensed provider of both taxi and limousine services. Several hotels near the airport provide shuttle services.
  • Car rental counters are located inside the terminal building in the arrivals area. The airport has service from Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National and Thrifty Car Rental.

Driving to Saskatoon

The University of Saskatchewan campus is accessible via Hwy. 16 (known as Circle Drive within Saskatoon) by taking the Preston Ave. exit (traveling south and immediately after crossing the river) or the College Drive exit (traveling north).
